Songs of the Moon

Drift in, notes, the songs of the moon, sometimes afloat in the memory that is blood, others that still light hugging the window when the curtains are left undrawn, and the shadows of old buildings, stone walls, a river’s murmur, call us back to a distant, ancient flow.

About bydda88

I love poetry, writing, especially writing as healing, as touching the sacred, being touched. And place, places dreaming us, us them. Coasts, rivers, canyons; the ordinary things too, the small things, gestures that reach out.
