Moss Wood: Creative Writing ink Exercise 13th September

Moss Wood

How bright the rainbow edge
of your smile –
the woods where we danced
naked as first light –
the greens and golds and russet of leaves
of trees leaning in
so that we took another path
away from where we’d ever been
in and through grief and joy and sorrow
our day cupped by mist and moss

the beginning of new lung

About bydda88

I love poetry, writing, especially writing as healing, as touching the sacred, being touched. And place, places dreaming us, us them. Coasts, rivers, canyons; the ordinary things too, the small things, gestures that reach out.
